MD - Cardiologist

MD - Cardiologist is responsible for providing specialist consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and clinical management of cardiac patients. The requires MD or relevant specialty qualification with 4 to 5 years of experience. Candidates should have strong knowledge of cardiology consultation, patient diagnosis, clinical documentation, cardiac risk assessment, treatment planning, and multidisciplinary patient care.

Role & Responsibilities

• Conduct cardiology consultations for OPD, IPD, and referred patients.
• Diagnose and manage hypertension, chest pain, heart failure, arrhythmia, and cardiac disorders.
• Review ECG, echo, TMT, lab reports, imaging, and cardiac investigation findings.
• Prepare treatment plans based on clinical condition and diagnostic results.
• Coordinate with physicians, ICU, emergency, radiology, lab, and nursing teams.
• Support cardiac risk evaluation for surgical or critically ill patients.
• Monitor admitted cardiac patients and update treatment plans as required.
• Prescribe medicines, lifestyle advice, and follow-up care instructions.
• Identify emergency cardiac conditions and initiate timely management.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes, prescriptions, diagnosis records, and case documentation.
• Counsel patients and attendants about cardiac condition, care plan, and precautions.
• Follow ethical medical practice, patient safety, and hospital protocols.
• Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary care planning.
• Support preventive cardiology and patient education activities.
