Medical Officer MBBS

Medical Officer MBBS (ER) is responsible for handling emergency patients, trauma cases, initial clinical assessment, stabilization, and emergency documentation. The requires MBBS qualification with 0 to 1 year of experience and is suitable for freshers with strong interest in emergency medicine. Candidates should have knowledge of emergency patient care, trauma management, clinical assessment, and quick medical decision support.

Role & Responsibilities

• Attend emergency patients and provide timely initial assessment.
• Manage trauma, accident, acute illness, and emergency medical cases.
• Perform clinical examination and identify urgent care requirements.
• Provide first-line stabilization under hospital emergency protocols.
• Assist senior doctors and consultants during emergency care.
• Monitor vital signs, oxygen support, and patient condition.
• Coordinate with ICU, OT, radiology, lab, nursing, and ambulance teams.
• Support patient admission, transfer, referral, or discharge decisions.
• Maintain emergency case sheets, prescriptions, and treatment records.
• Communicate patient condition updates to seniors and attendants.
• Support emergency procedures, CPR, and resuscitation when required.
• Ensure emergency medicines, equipment, and clinical support are used properly.
• Follow patient safety, infection control, and emergency care protocols.
• Participate in ER duty handover and case follow-up.
• Deliver prompt, calm, and patient-focused emergency medical care.
