Anaesthesiologist

Anaesthesiologist is responsible for administering anaesthesia, managing perioperative patient care, supporting neurosurgery cases, and ensuring patient safety during surgical and critical care procedures. The requires MD Anaesthesia qualification with 2 to 5 years of experience. Candidates should have strong knowledge of anaesthesia administration, airway management, critical care support, emergency response, and surgical case coordination.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assess patients before surgery and evaluate anaesthesia fitness.
• Plan and administer general, regional, or local anaesthesia as required.
• Support neurosurgery and other surgical cases with safe anaesthesia management.
• Monitor patient vitals, airway, oxygenation, and anaesthesia depth during procedures.
• Manage pain control, sedation, and perioperative patient safety.
• Coordinate with surgeons, OT staff, ICU, nursing, and emergency teams.
• Handle airway emergencies and critical intraoperative events.
• Support post-operative recovery and patient monitoring.
• Maintain anaesthesia records, consent documentation, and procedure notes.
• Ensure availability and readiness of anaesthesia equipment and emergency drugs.
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and OT protocols.
• Provide critical care support for ICU and emergency patients when required.
• Counsel patients and attendants regarding anaesthesia-related instructions.
• Participate in emergency response, resuscitation, and code blue support.
• Deliver safe, ethical, and clinically accurate anaesthesia care.
