Nurse

Nurse is responsible for providing quality nursing care to neurosurgery-related patients, monitoring patient condition, supporting clinical procedures, and maintaining accurate nursing documentation. The requires M.Sc Nursing or B.Sc Nursing qualification with 4 to 5 years of experience. Candidates should have strong knowledge of patient monitoring, nursing care, post-operative care, clinical documentation, and hospital nursing protocols.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to admitted and neurosurgery-related patients.
• Monitor patient vital signs, neurological status, symptoms, and treatment response.
• Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, and prescribed nursing care safely.
• Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, dressing, and emergency care.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication charts, and patient care records.
• Support pre-operative and post-operative patient preparation and monitoring.
• Observe patient condition changes and report immediately to doctors.
• Coordinate with consultants, ICU, OT, pharmacy, lab, and support departments.
• Follow infection control, hygiene, biomedical waste, and patient safety protocols.
• Prepare patients for investigations, transfers, procedures, and discharge.
• Maintain ward supplies, emergency equipment, and nursing station readiness.
• Educate patients and attendants about care instructions and medication guidance.
• Ensure proper shift handover with complete patient updates.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records and hospital information.
