Ward Incharge

The Ward Incharge will supervise ward nursing operations, patient care management, nursing staff coordination, documentation, and daily ward workflow at Saraswati Hospital, Ahmedabad. This requires GNM or B.Sc Nursing qualification with supervisory ability, patient care management skills, ward coordination experience, and nursing leadership capability.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage daily ward operations and ensure smooth patient care delivery.
• Supervise nursing staff, duty allocation, shift management, and workload distribution.
• Monitor patient condition, nursing care quality, and treatment compliance.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, pharmacy, laboratory, billing, and administration teams.
• Ensure proper medication administration, documentation, and nursing procedures.
• Review nursing notes, patient charts, handover reports, and care plans.
• Maintain ward discipline, cleanliness, safety, and patient comfort standards.
• Ensure availability of medicines, consumables, equipment, and patient care resources.
• Guide nursing staff on SOPs, infection control, and patient safety practices.
• Handle patient and attendant concerns professionally.
• Monitor admission, transfer, and discharge coordination activities.
• Maintain ward records, reports, and quality documentation.
• Support NABH compliance and hospital quality standards.
• Train junior nurses and support staff whenever required.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate ward management.
