Driver

The Driver will provide safe transportation support for hospital patients, staff, and official requirements at Saraswati Hospital, Ahmedabad. This requires a valid driving license with knowledge of safe driving practices, vehicle maintenance awareness, and patient/staff transportation support.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation services for patients, staff, and hospital requirements.
• Drive hospital vehicles responsibly while following traffic and safety rules.
• Support patient transport including emergency and scheduled movement requirements.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness, readiness, and basic maintenance checks.
• Perform daily vehicle inspection including fuel, tyres, lights, and safety equipment.
• Maintain vehicle records, trip details, and required documentation.
• Support emergency transportation needs when assigned.
• Coordinate with hospital administration for transportation schedules.
• Ensure patient comfort and safe handling during transportation.
• Report vehicle issues, breakdowns, or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Follow hospital discipline, punctuality, and professional behaviour standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
• Assist patients during vehicle boarding and movement when required.
• Ensure timely transportation services.
• Support smooth hospital transport operations.
