Consultant Internal Medicine

The Consultant Internal Medicine will provide internal medicine consultation, diabetes and chronic disease care, patient diagnosis, OPD / IPD management, emergency medical support, and follow-up care at Fortis, Jaipur. This requires MBBS with MD or DNB in Internal Medicine with 1–4 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Consult patients with fever, infections, diabetes, hypertension, respiratory illness, weakness, and medical complaints.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic internal medicine conditions.
• Review lab reports, imaging findings, vitals, medication history, and treatment response.
• Prepare treatment plans for OPD, IPD, emergency, and referred medical patients.
• Manage diabetes, metabolic disorders, lifestyle diseases, and general medical complications.
• Coordinate with specialists, ICU, emergency, nursing, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and billing teams.
• Counsel patients regarding diagnosis, medicines, diet, lifestyle, investigations, and follow-up.
• Provide medical fitness, pre-operative evaluation, and co-management support when required.
• Maintain consultation notes, prescriptions, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Follow hospital clinical protocols, patient safety, infection control, and ethical medical practice.
