Attending Consultant - Obstetrics and Gynaecology

The Associate Consultant Endocrinology will provide diabetes, thyroid, hormonal, metabolic, and internal medicine-related endocrine care at Fortis, Hyderabad. This requires MBBS with MD, DNB, or DM in Endocrinology preferred with 6–11 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat endocrine and metabolic disorders in OPD and inpatient settings.
• Manage diabetes complications, thyroid dysfunction, obesity, adrenal, pituitary, and bone metabolism cases.
• Review investigations and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Provide patient counselling on medicine use, lifestyle change, glucose monitoring, and follow-up.
• Coordinate with nursing, laboratory, pharmacy, dietician, and specialty teams for complete care.
• Respond to inpatient endocrine referrals and support complex case management.
• Maintain consultation records, discharge advice, treatment plans, and follow-up notes.
• Support preventive care and patient awareness for chronic endocrine conditions.
• Follow clinical protocols, confidentiality, and documentation standards.
• Deliver safe, long-term, and patient-friendly endocrine treatment.
