Resident Medical Officer

The Associate Consultant Endocrinology will manage endocrine disorders, diabetes care, thyroid treatment, hormonal disease diagnosis, inpatient referrals, and patient follow-up at Fortis, Bengaluru. This requires MBBS with MD, DNB, or DM in Endocrinology preferred with 6–11 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with diabetes, thyroid disease, hormonal imbalance, obesity, PCOS, and metabolic disorders.
• Interpret endocrine investigations, blood reports, imaging, and clinical symptoms.
• Develop personalized treatment plans for OPD and admitted patients.
• Guide insulin therapy, thyroid medication, lifestyle plans, and long-term monitoring.
• Coordinate care with internal medicine, cardiology, nephrology, dietician, laboratory, and pharmacy.
• Counsel patients on disease control, medicine adherence, diet, exercise, and follow-up testing.
• Maintain accurate prescriptions, consultation notes, and referral documentation.
• Manage complex endocrine emergencies or uncontrolled metabolic conditions with team support.
• Participate in clinical discussions and patient education activities.
• Ensure evidence-based, ethical, and patient-centered endocrine care.
