Doctor

The Doctor will be responsible for patient consultation, diagnosis, treatment planning, clinical monitoring, emergency response, documentation, and patient counselling at GBL Barala Hospital, Chomu. This requires MBBS or MD qualification with minimum 1 year of clinical experience. The candidate should have strong medical knowledge, patient care skills, and the ability to coordinate with nursing, diagnostics, pharmacy, and hospital teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Examine patients and assess symptoms, medical history, and clinical condition.
• Diagnose illnesses and prepare appropriate treatment plans as per medical protocols.
• Provide OPD, IPD, emergency, and ward patient care as assigned.
• Prescribe medicines, investigations, procedures, and follow-up care when required.
• Review laboratory, radiology, and diagnostic reports for accurate clinical decisions.
• Monitor admitted patients and update treatment based on patient progress.
• Coordinate with nursing staff, laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, and administration teams.
• Respond to emergency cases and escalate critical patients to specialists when required.
• Maintain accurate case sheets, prescriptions, clinical notes, and discharge summaries.
• Counsel patients and relatives regarding diagnosis, treatment, medication, and follow-up.
• Follow hospital clinical protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
• Ensure ethical, compassionate, and professional medical care.
