IT Executive

The IT Executive will be responsible for hospital IT support, hardware and software troubleshooting, network support, system maintenance, user assistance, data security, and IT documentation at GCS Hospital, Ahmedabad. This requires BCA, MCA, B.Sc IT, B.Tech, BE, or B.IT qualification with 2–3 years of experience in IT support or healthcare IT operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for computers, printers, scanners, internet, LAN, and hospital systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, email, and basic application-related issues.
• Support hospital software usage for OPD, IPD, billing, pharmacy, lab, and administration teams.
• Maintain IT assets, complaint logs, service records, and system documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors for software, hardware, AMC, networking, and technical service support.
• Manage user login access, system permissions, password support, and basic data security.
• Support antivirus updates, system backup coordination, and cybersecurity practices.
• Check network connectivity, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and related IT infrastructure.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, basic software, and peripheral devices.
• Train users on basic system usage and hospital software workflow when required.
• Report repeated technical issues, downtime, or security concerns to seniors.
• Ensure smooth, secure, and uninterrupted IT support for hospital operations.
