PMJAY Coordinator

The PMJAY Coordinator will be responsible for managing Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana patient coordination, documentation, eligibility verification, claim support, approval follow-up, and scheme-related hospital workflow at GCS Hospital, Ahmedabad. This requires BHMS or BAMS qualification with 2–3 years of experience in PMJAY or government health scheme coordination.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Handle PMJAY patient registration, verification, and documentation process.
• Check patient eligibility, scheme card details, proof, and required documents.
• Coordinate with doctors, billing, TPA, admission, discharge, and administration teams.
• Support pre-authorization, package selection, approval follow-up, and claim documentation.
• Maintain PMJAY files, patient records, approval trackers, and claim status reports.
• Guide patients and relatives regarding PMJAY process, documents, and hospital workflow.
• Follow up for pending approvals, queries, discharge documents, and claim submissions.
• Ensure all PMJAY documents are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
• Coordinate with government portals or scheme systems as per hospital process.
• Track rejected, pending, or queried cases and escalate important issues to seniors.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information.
• Ensure smooth, accurate, and patient-friendly PMJAY coordination.
