Job Description:

GCS Medical College Hospital & Research Centre is seeking a Mammography Technician to join their dynamic team and support specialized breast imaging services. The involves performing accurate mammography procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and assisting in early detection and diagnosis through high-quality imaging.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography procedures with precision following established clinical protocols
• Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort, privacy, and safety during examinations
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety and quality standards at all times
• Maintain accurate patient records, imaging data, and procedure documentation
• Coordinate with radiologists and healthcare teams for timely reporting and diagnosis
• Assist in screening and diagnostic procedures for early detection of breast conditions
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report any technical issues promptly
• Follow hospital policies, infection control, and safety guidelines
• Stay updated with advancements in mammography techniques and technology
