Manager - QC

Dishman Carbogen Amcis Ltd is seeking an experienced and technically strong Manager – Quality Control (QC) to lead analytical operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality excellence across laboratory functions. The ideal candidate will oversee method validation, manage QC teams, and ensure adherence to global standards and data integrity practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage quality control activities including analytical testing, method validation, and laboratory operations
• Oversee validation and verification of analytical methods in compliance with international guidelines such as ICH, USP, and other regulatory standards
• Operate and ensure effective utilization of advanced analytical instruments including HPLC, GC, FT-IR, UV spectroscopy, ICP-MS, and GC-MS
• Review and approve validation protocols, reports, and analytical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Ensure adherence to global regulatory requirements including FDA, EDQM, ANVISA, PMDA, and other international agencies
• Prepare for and support regulatory audits and inspections by maintaining audit-ready documentation and systems
• Implement and monitor good documentation practices (GDP) and ensure data integrity within laboratory operations
• Manage laboratory information systems (LIMS) and ensure proper data recording, tracking, and reporting
• Troubleshoot analytical methods and instrumentation issues to maintain smooth laboratory functioning
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement CAPA for deviations, out-of-specification results, and quality issues
• Plan, execute, and oversee method validation projects while ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QC professionals, ensuring skill development and performance improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as R&D, QA, and Regulatory Affairs for seamless project execution
• Present analytical findings and defend validation data during audits and regulatory reviews
• Support method development, transfer activities, and continuous improvement initiatives within the QC function
