Radiology Technician

The Radiology Technician will be responsible for supporting CT, MRI, and radiology imaging procedures, patient preparation, positioning, image quality, safety compliance, documentation, and radiology workflow at GCS Hospital, Ahmedabad. This requires B.Sc with CT / MRI Technician Course and 2–3 years of experience in radiology or diagnostic imaging services.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT, MRI, and assigned radiology imaging procedures.
• Verify patient identity, doctor request, clinical history, and imaging instructions.
• Position patients correctly to obtain accurate and clear imaging results.
• Operate CT, MRI, or radiology equipment as per department SOP and safety guidelines.
• Maintain imaging logs, patient records, procedure documentation, and equipment checklists.
• Follow radiation safety, MRI safety, infection control, and patient privacy standards.
• Coordinate with radiologists, doctors, nurses, OPD, IPD, ICU, and emergency teams.
• Prioritize emergency imaging requests and support urgent diagnostic workflow.
• Check equipment readiness and report machine issues to seniors promptly.
• Guide patients politely regarding procedure steps and basic preparation.
• Ensure image quality, correct labeling, and timely report coordination.
• Support accurate, timely, and safe diagnostic imaging services.
