IDCCM Course Clinician

The IDCCM Course Clinician is suitable for MBBS doctors who want structured exposure to critical care medicine at Wockhardt Hospitals, Nagpur. This fresher-level opportunity focuses on ICU patient care, critical care protocols, ventilator basics, emergency response, clinical documentation, and multidisciplinary learning under intensivist supervision.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Participate in structured IDCCM critical care medicine training.
• Assist intensivists in ICU rounds, patient assessment, and treatment review.
• Monitor vitals, lab reports, ABG, ventilator parameters, and clinical progress under guidance.
• Learn ICU protocols for sepsis, shock, respiratory failure, and emergency care.
• Maintain ICU notes, clinical records, handover documentation, and treatment charts.
• Support emergency response, code blue, and critical patient stabilization under supervision.
• Coordinate with ICU nurses, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, and specialty teams.
• Observe and assist in ICU procedures as permitted by seniors.
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and critical care documentation standards.
• Report abnormal findings and patient deterioration immediately.
• Participate in case discussions, academic sessions, and clinical training.
• Maintain professional discipline and ethical medical conduct.
• Communicate patient updates only through approved senior-led channels.
• Build strong clinical foundation in intensive care medicine.
• Support safe and supervised critical care patient management.
