IDCCN Course For Nurses

The IDCCN Course For Nurses is designed for GNM or B.Sc Nursing candidates who want structured critical care nursing exposure at Wockhardt Hospitals, Nagpur. This fresher-level opportunity focuses on ICU nursing training, critical care basics, patient monitoring, infection control, documentation, emergency response, and supervised skill development in a professional hospital environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Participate in structured IDCCN critical care nursing training.
• Learn ICU patient monitoring, vital signs tracking, and critical care documentation.
• Assist senior ICU nurses in bedside care under supervision.
• Learn ventilator care basics, oxygen therapy, infusion monitoring, and emergency support.
• Follow infection control, PPE, hand hygiene, and biomedical waste protocols.
• Support patient comfort, positioning, hygiene, and basic nursing care.
• Observe ICU rounds, procedures, and multidisciplinary care coordination.
• Maintain training records, nursing notes, and skill checklists as instructed.
• Report patient changes or abnormal observations to senior nurses promptly.
• Learn safe medication administration and critical care nursing responsibilities.
• Participate in BLS, emergency response, and ICU protocol training.
• Coordinate with nursing educators, ICU team, and clinical supervisors.
• Maintain discipline, punctuality, and professional behavior during training.
• Respect patient privacy, confidentiality, and dignity.
• Build practical competency in critical care nursing.
