Job Description

The Critical Care Medicine professional will support ICU and critical care patient management, emergency response, intensive monitoring, ventilator care, documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination at Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai. This requires MBBS, MD, or DNB qualification with 0–4 years of experience in critical care medicine, ICU care, and emergency clinical support.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage critically ill patients in ICU and critical care units under senior guidance.
  • Monitor vitals, ventilator parameters, ABG, labs, fluid balance, and organ support.
  • Assist in ICU rounds, treatment planning, and emergency interventions.
  • Support intubation, resuscitation, central line support, and procedure preparation as permitted.
  • Respond to code blue, shock, sepsis, respiratory failure, and critical deterioration.
  • Maintain ICU notes, treatment charts, procedure records, and handover documentation.
  • Coordinate with intensivists, consultants, nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, and radiology teams.
  • Review investigation reports and escalate abnormal findings promptly.
  • Follow ICU protocols, infection control, patient safety, and documentation standards.
  • Support ventilator care, oxygen therapy, sedation monitoring, and fluid management.
  • Communicate patient updates through approved senior-led channels.
  • Participate in ICU case discussions, academic learning, and quality activities.
  • Ensure smooth admission, transfer, and discharge coordination for critical patients.
  • Maintain ethical medical practice and patient confidentiality.
  • Support safe, timely, and high-quality critical care
