Cardiology Technician

The Cardiology Technician will support cardiac diagnostic services, including ECG and cardiac technology procedures at Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai. This requires Diploma or Degree in Cardiology Technology with 1–3 years of experience, technical accuracy, patient preparation skills, equipment handling knowledge, and cardiology department coordination.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform ECG and support cardiac diagnostic procedures as assigned.
• Prepare patients for cardiology tests and explain procedure steps clearly.
• Verify patient identity, test request, history, and doctor instructions.
• Attach leads correctly and ensure accurate recording quality.
• Support TMT, Holter, echo coordination, or other cardiac diagnostics when assigned.
• Maintain ECG reports, test logs, patient records, and documentation.
• Coordinate with cardiologists, nurses, OPD, emergency, ICU, and diagnostic teams.
• Identify abnormal findings or urgent ECG changes and inform doctors immediately.
• Clean and maintain ECG machine, cables, leads, electrodes, and work area.
• Report equipment issues, technical faults, or consumable shortages promptly.
• Follow patient privacy, infection control, and safety standards.
• Prioritize emergency ECG requests and bedside procedures when required.
• Maintain professional communication with patients and attendants.
• Support smooth cardiology department workflow.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and reliable cardiac diagnostic support.
