IT Officer

The IT Officer will be responsible for desktop support, hardware support, basic networking, hospital software assistance, user support, troubleshooting, and IT documentation at Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai. This requires any graduate or Diploma in IT qualification with 1–2 years of experience, technical problem-solving skills, service attitude, and knowledge of healthcare IT support.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide desktop, laptop, printer, scanner, and peripheral support to hospital users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, email, and basic system issues.
• Support hospital software, user login issues, system access, and daily IT operations.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, antivirus, and updates.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repair, internet, printer, CCTV, and IT service support.
• Maintain IT asset records, service tickets, issue logs, and user support documentation.
• Assist departments such as OPD, billing, pharmacy, lab, radiology, and administration with IT needs.
• Support LAN connectivity, Wi-Fi issues, cabling, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Ensure data security, password discipline, and authorized system usage.
• Report major downtime, recurring issues, or security risks to IT seniors promptly.
• Support backup coordination and basic system maintenance activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of hospital, patient, and employee data.
• Provide polite and timely technical support to staff.
• Follow IT policies, hospital SOPs, and escalation process.
• Ensure smooth IT support for uninterrupted hospital operations.
