Registrar Critical Care Job in Mumbai at Wockhardt Hospitals

Job Description

The Registrar Critical Care will support ICU patient management, intensive monitoring, emergency response, ventilator care, procedures, and clinical documentation at Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai. This requires MD, DNB, or Diploma in Critical Care qualification with 0–4 years of experience in ICU, IDCCM, and intensive care medicine.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage critically ill patients in ICU under intensivist supervision.
  • Participate in ICU rounds, treatment planning, and multidisciplinary care coordination.
  • Monitor vitals, ventilator settings, ABG, labs, fluid balance, and organ support.
  • Assist in ICU procedures, intubation support, central line support, and emergency interventions.
  • Respond to code blue, sepsis, shock, respiratory failure, and critical deterioration.
  • Maintain ICU notes, procedure records, consent forms, and handover documentation.
  • Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, and specialty consultants.
  • Review investigation reports and escalate abnormal or critical findings promptly.
  • Support ventilator care, sedation monitoring, pain control, and infection prevention.
  • Communicate patient condition under senior guidance as per hospital policy.
  • Follow ICU protocols, patient safety, infection control, and documentation standards.
  • Participate in case discussions, audits, training, and academic sessions.
  • Ensure proper handover and continuity of critical care services.
  • Support ICU quality indicators and clinical improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure safe and timely critical care patient management.
