Microbiology Technician

The Microbiology Technician will support microbiology testing, molecular biology work, microbial limit testing, sample handling, laboratory documentation, and infection-related diagnostic support at Surya Hospital, Mumbai. This requires 1–4 years of experience in microbiology laboratory operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform microbiology testing as per laboratory SOPs.
• Support microbial limit tests, sample processing, and molecular biology activities.
• Prepare media, reagents, cultures, and laboratory consumables.
• Maintain lab records, worksheets, logbooks, and test documentation.
• Operate microbiology instruments and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Follow biosafety, infection control, and laboratory safety standards.
• Report abnormal results or contamination issues to seniors promptly.
• Support accurate and timely microbiology diagnostic services.
