Job Description

The Transplant Coordinator will manage transplant patient coordination, documentation, donor-recipient communication, regulatory process support, counselling, and multidisciplinary coordination at Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai. This requires any graduate, nursing, or healthcare graduate qualification with 3–5 years of experience in hospital administration, transplant coordination, and patient communication.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate transplant-related patient, donor, and family communication.
  • Assist in documentation required for transplant evaluation and approval process.
  • Coordinate with transplant surgeons, physicians, nursing, ICU, lab, blood bank, and administration teams.
  • Maintain transplant case files, consent forms, reports, committee documents, and trackers.
  • Guide patients and families regarding transplant process, required documents, and hospital workflow.
  • Support scheduling of investigations, counselling sessions, committee meetings, and admissions.
  • Ensure confidentiality and ethical handling of donor-recipient information.
  • Coordinate with government or regulatory bodies as per hospital policy and legal requirements.
  • Track pending reports, approvals, clearances, and patient follow-up steps.
  • Assist in transplant awareness, patient education, and post-transplant follow-up coordination.
  • Escalate documentation gaps, patient concerns, or process delays to seniors promptly.
  • Maintain accurate MIS reports and transplant coordination records.
  • Support compliance with transplant laws, hospital SOPs, and medical ethics.
  • Coordinate emergency requirements during transplant workflow.
  • Ensure smooth, compliant, and patient-friendly transplant coordination.
