Neuro Technician

The Neuro Technician will support neurology and neurodiagnostic procedures such as EEG and related tests at Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai. This requires Diploma or Degree in Neuro Technology with 1–3 years of experience, knowledge of neurodiagnostic equipment, patient preparation, test accuracy, documentation, and coordination with neurologists.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for EEG and other neurodiagnostic procedures.
• Verify patient identity, doctor advice, clinical history, and test requirements.
• Apply electrodes properly and ensure accurate signal recording.
• Operate neurodiagnostic equipment as per SOP and neurologist guidance.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain procedure logs, test records, reports, and equipment usage documentation.
• Coordinate with neurologists, nurses, OPD, ICU, and diagnostic teams.
• Identify technical artifacts and ensure quality recording output.
• Clean and maintain electrodes, cables, machines, and testing area.
• Report equipment malfunction or abnormal technical issues to seniors.
• Follow infection control, patient privacy, and safety standards.
• Assist in emergency or bedside neurodiagnostic procedures when required.
• Guide patients regarding procedure steps and preparation.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient data and diagnostic findings.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and reliable neurodiagnostic support.
