Registrar ICU

The Registrar ICU will support ICU patient care, critical monitoring, consultant rounds, emergency response, ventilator support coordination, clinical documentation, and multidisciplinary communication at Saifee Hospital, Mumbai. This requires MBBS, MD, or DNB qualification with 1–5 years of ICU or critical care experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Attend ICU patients and support day-to-day critical care management.
• Assist intensivists and consultants during ICU rounds, procedures, and treatment planning.
• Monitor vitals, ventilator parameters, ABG, lab reports, fluids, medications, and clinical progress.
• Respond to ICU emergencies and escalate critical changes promptly.
• Maintain ICU notes, progress sheets, medication orders, handover records, and discharge summaries.
• Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, dialysis, blood bank, and specialty teams.
• Support airway care, central line care, catheter care, and procedure assistance under guidance.
• Track pending investigations, reports, and consultant instructions.
• Communicate patient updates to seniors and support family counselling under consultant guidance.
• Follow ICU protocols, infection control, patient safety, and documentation standards.
• Participate in clinical discussions, audits, and critical care improvement activities.
• Ensure safe, timely, and professional ICU clinical support.
