Resident Medical Officer

The Resident Medical Officer will be responsible for supporting OPD and emergency medicine services, patient assessment, clinical monitoring, consultant coordination, medical documentation, and emergency response at Masina Hospital, Mumbai. This requires MBBS qualification with 0–2 years of experience. The candidate should have strong clinical basics, emergency response ability, and patient care discipline.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Attend OPD, emergency, ward, and assigned clinical patients as required.
• Take patient history, conduct examination, and support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Assist consultants during rounds, procedures, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Monitor patient vitals, reports, treatment response, and clinical progress.
• Maintain case sheets, progress notes, prescriptions, discharge summaries, and handover records.
• Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, ICU, OT, and billing teams.
• Respond to emergency calls and escalate critical cases promptly.
• Review investigation reports and update seniors on abnormal findings.
• Counsel patients and attendants under consultant guidance.
• Support admission, discharge, referral, and patient movement processes.
• Follow hospital clinical protocols, patient safety, and infection control standards.
• Deliver safe, timely, and ethical medical support to patients.
