Audiologist

The Audiologist will be responsible for hearing assessment, audiometry testing, patient counselling, hearing aid guidance, diagnostic support, documentation, and coordination with ENT and clinical teams at Saifee Hospital, Mumbai. This requires BASLP, MASLP, or AuD qualification with 0–3 years of audiology experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform hearing assessments, audiometry, tympanometry, and related audiology tests.
• Evaluate patients with hearing loss, tinnitus, speech difficulty, balance concerns, and ear-related complaints.
• Coordinate with ENT doctors and clinical teams for patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Explain test procedures and results to patients in a clear and professional manner.
• Support hearing aid trial, fitting guidance, counselling, and follow-up care where applicable.
• Maintain audiology test records, reports, patient files, and equipment logs.
• Ensure proper calibration, cleanliness, and readiness of audiology equipment.
• Counsel patients and families regarding hearing care, rehabilitation, and communication support.
• Follow patient privacy, infection control, and clinical documentation standards.
• Support pediatric and adult audiology assessments as per department requirement.
• Identify abnormal findings and escalate to ENT or senior clinicians when needed.
• Deliver accurate, ethical, and patient-friendly audiology services.
