OT Store Assistant

The OT Store Assistant will manage operation theatre store activities, surgical consumable handling, stock issue, inventory tracking, documentation, material coordination, and OT supply support at Criticare Asia Hospital, Mumbai. This requires any graduate qualification with 2–5 years of OT store or hospital store experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain OT store inventory including surgical consumables, disposables, instruments, and procedure materials.
• Issue OT materials as per procedure requirement and approved request.
• Check stock availability, expiry dates, batch details, and material condition regularly.
• Coordinate with OT nurses, surgeons, anesthesia team, CSSD, purchase, pharmacy, and stores department.
• Maintain stock registers, issue records, consumption sheets, indent records, and inventory documentation.
• Track fast-moving, critical, emergency, and high-value OT items.
• Support OT case preparation by ensuring required materials are available on time.
• Report shortages, near-expiry items, damaged stock, and reorder requirements to seniors.
• Support stock audits, physical verification, and inventory reconciliation.
• Maintain proper storage, labeling, cleanliness, and traceability of OT store items.
• Follow hospital SOPs, infection control, material handling, and documentation standards.
• Ensure smooth, accurate, and timely OT material support.
