Head - Housekeeping

The Head - Housekeeping will lead hospital housekeeping operations, cleanliness standards, manpower supervision, infection control support, waste management, hygiene audits, and departmental coordination at Criticare Asia Hospital, Mumbai. This requires any graduate qualification with 10–15 years of housekeeping leadership experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead daily housekeeping operations across wards, ICU, OT, OPD, emergency, diagnostic, and public areas.
• Supervise housekeeping supervisors, helpers, attendants, and outsourced housekeeping staff.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, and patient area maintenance.
• Monitor routine cleaning, deep cleaning, discharge cleaning, and urgent cleaning requests.
• Ensure biomedical waste segregation, PPE usage, infection control, and hospital hygiene protocols.
• Prepare duty rosters, manpower plans, cleaning schedules, and housekeeping checklists.
• Coordinate with nursing, infection control, administration, maintenance, security, and patient care teams.
• Handle patient complaints, hygiene concerns, staff issues, and service escalations professionally.
• Maintain housekeeping records, material usage reports, attendance, audits, and compliance documentation.
• Monitor housekeeping inventory, cleaning chemicals, equipment, linen support, and consumable usage.
• Train housekeeping staff on hospital discipline, patient privacy, safe cleaning, and infection control.
• Ensure clean, safe, organized, and patient-friendly hospital premises.
