Part Time Sonologist

The Part Time Sonologist will be responsible for performing ultrasound and sonography services, diagnostic interpretation, patient safety, reporting, and clinical coordination at Saifee Hospital, Mumbai. This requires MBBS, MD Radiology, or DMRD qualification with 0–2 years of sonography or radiology experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound and sonography examinations as per clinical requirements.
• Review patient history, referral notes, clinical indication, and previous reports before scanning.
• Conduct abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, soft tissue, vascular, and other ultrasound studies as applicable.
• Prepare accurate sonography reports and communicate urgent findings to treating doctors.
• Maintain patient privacy, comfort, and safety during ultrasound procedures.
• Coordinate with radiology staff, clinicians, nursing, OPD, IPD, and emergency teams.
• Ensure proper use and cleanliness of ultrasound machine and accessories.
• Guide patients regarding basic procedure steps and preparation where required.
• Maintain scan records, report documentation, and department logs.
• Follow radiology safety, infection control, and hospital reporting standards.
• Support emergency sonography requests when assigned.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and ethical diagnostic sonography services.
