The Senior Registrar Critical Care will support ICU patient management, critical care monitoring, ventilator care, emergency stabilization, anaesthesiology support, intensive care documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination at Fortis, Kolkata. This requires MBBS with MD, DNB, IDCCM, or Critical Care qualification preferred with 2–7 years of experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Attend critically ill patients in ICU, emergency, and high-dependency areas.
- Monitor vitals, ventilator parameters, oxygenation, ABG, lab reports, imaging, and treatment response.
- Assist consultants during ICU rounds, emergency procedures, resuscitation, and clinical reviews.
- Support airway management, ventilator care, oxygen therapy, hemodynamic monitoring, and emergency stabilization.
- Maintain ICU case sheets, progress notes, prescriptions, procedure notes, and handover records.
- Coordinate with ICU nursing, emergency, anaesthesia, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, and billing teams.
- Escalate critical changes, abnormal findings, sepsis, shock, respiratory failure, or neurological deterioration immediately.
- Support admission, transfer, discharge, and critical patient movement.
- Follow ICU protocols, infection control, patient safety, medication safety, and documentation standards.
- Deliver safe, timely, and evidence-based critical care support.
