Junior Executive - Billing

The Junior Executive - Billing will support OPD / IPD billing, bill preparation, payment coordination, charge verification, documentation, and patient query handling at Apollo Hospitals, Kolkata. This requires graduate or billing qualification with 0–5 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare OPD, IPD, procedure, diagnostic, pharmacy, and discharge-related bills.
• Verify patient details, doctor charges, service charges, and billing entries.
• Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, lab, radiology, accounts, and administration teams.
• Explain billing details, payments, estimates, and bill breakups to patients or attendants.
• Maintain billing records, receipts, payment entries, refunds, and daily reports.
• Identify billing errors, missing charges, or tariff mismatch and correct them promptly.
• Handle patient billing queries politely and escalate disputes to seniors.
• Follow billing SOPs, approval rules, confidentiality, and documentation standards.
