Physician Assistant - Critical Care Medicine

The Physician Assistant - Critical Care Medicine will support critical care consultants, ICU workflow, patient assessment, report tracking, clinical documentation, and patient coordination at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. This requires B.Sc Physician Assistant with critical care qualification and 0–6 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist critical care consultants during ICU rounds, procedures, and clinical reviews.
• Take patient history, record vitals, and support basic clinical assessment.
• Track investigations, lab reports, imaging, procedures, and consultant instructions.
• Maintain patient records, progress notes, handover documentation, and clinical summaries.
• Coordinate with nursing, ICU, emergency, pharmacy, lab, radiology, and billing teams.
• Escalate abnormal reports, critical values, or patient deterioration immediately.
• Support admission, transfer, discharge, and critical care coordination.
• Maintain confidentiality, patient safety, and professional clinical communication.
