Job Description

The Key Account Manager – Oncology will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets by promoting oncology products, managing key hospital accounts, developing strong relationships with oncologists and healthcare professionals, and implementing strategic business initiatives. The involves business analysis, KOL management, market penetration planning, customer engagement activities, and ensuring effective execution of sales and marketing strategies.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets through effective territory and key account management.
  • Promote oncology products to oncologists, hospitals, cancer centers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, KOLs, and institutional stakeholders.
  • Plan and schedule customer visits and business activities as per company guidelines.
  • Implement effective sales and marketing strategies to increase market share and business growth.
  • Improve product penetration and optimize product mix through strategic account management.
  • Conduct business potential analysis andentify opportunities for territory expansion.
  • Track hospital business, market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance within the territory.
  • Propose and implement strategies to improve market penetration and sales growth.
  • Organize and coordinate CMEs, RTDs, PAPs, NEPs, conferences, and scientific promotional activities.
  • Coordinate with marketing and medical teams for brand-building and promotional initiatives.
  • Ensure strict adherence to sales processes, marketing strategies, and ethical business practices.
  • Handle customer complaints, product concerns, and ADR-related issues promptly as per company norms.
  • Monitor sales orders, collections, receivables, and business performance metrics regularly.
  • Prepare timely reports, business reviews, activity plans, and strategy feedback for management.
  • Track competition and recommend competitive strategies to strengthen market positioning.
  • Ensure effective ROI tracking for promotional activities and business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including supply chain, finance, marketing, and medical affairs for smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company code of conduct, HR policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Build long-term customer loyalty through value-added engagement and relationship-building activities.
  • Stay updated with oncology treatment trends, pharmaceutical developments, and healthcare market dynamics.
