Deputy Manager - Quality Control Job in Ahmedabad at Cadila Pharmaceuticals

Job Description

The Deputy Manager - Quality Control will be responsible for managing QMS investigations, analytical quality review, compliance documentation, CAPA coordination, and quality system support within the Quality Control department at Cadila Pharmaceuticals, Ahmedabad. This requires B.Sc / M.Sc Chemistry qualification with 6–10 years of experience in QC investigations, formulation quality control, GMP documentation, and regulatory compliance.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead QMS investigations for QC-related deviations, incidents, OOS, OOT, and laboratory abnormalities.
  • Review analytical records, test results, chromatographic data, instrument logs, and laboratory observations.
  • Ensure investigation reports include proper root cause analysis, impact assessment, and CAPA plan.
  • Coordinate with QA, QC, production, formulation, engineering, and regulatory teams for timely closure.
  • Monitor investigation timelines, pending CAPA actions, and recurring quality trends.
  • Support review of quality events related to formulation products and analytical processes.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, GDP, data integrity, and internal quality procedures.
  • Participate in internal audits, regulatory inspections, and customer audit responses.
  • Guide QC officers and executives on documentation quality and investigation methodology.
  • Review SOPs, protocols, investigation formats, and QMS-related controlled documents.
  • Support quality risk assessment and preventive action planning for laboratory issues.
  • Prepare quality metrics, investigation summaries, and management review inputs.
  • Ensure corrective actions are practical, traceable, and effective.
  • Promote disciplined documentation and compliance practices in QC operations.
  • Maintain high standards of analytical quality and regulatory readiness.
