Assistant Manager - Quality Control

The Assistant Manager - Quality Control will be responsible for handling QMS investigations, quality control documentation, analytical review, deviation support, and compliance activities in the formulation manufacturing environment at Cadila Pharmaceuticals, Ahmedabad. This requires B.Sc / M.Sc Chemistry qualification with 6–10 years of experience in quality control, formulation operations, investigation handling, GMP compliance, and quality system execution.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Handle QMS investigations related to quality control laboratory observations and analytical failures.
• Review laboratory incidents, deviations, OOS, OOT, and abnormal analytical results.
• Support root cause analysis and prepare scientifically justified investigation reports.
• Coordinate with QC, QA, production, formulation, engineering, and regulatory teams for investigation closure.
• Review analytical data, chromatograms, worksheets, logbooks, and laboratory documentation.
• Ensure investigation outcomes comply with GMP, GLP, GDP, and data integrity requirements.
• Support CAPA preparation, implementation tracking, and effectiveness verification.
• Review formulation-related QC issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain QMS trackers, investigation records, deviation reports, and closure timelines.
• Participate in internal audits, regulatory audits, and customer audit readiness activities.
• Train QC team members on investigation practices, documentation, and compliance expectations.
• Identify recurring quality trends and support preventive quality improvement actions.
• Ensure timely closure of investigations without compromising scientific accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality of product, process, and quality-related records.
• Support strong quality culture within the Quality Control department.
