Job Description

Deputy Manager - Manufacturing is responsible for supporting financial planning, operational analysis, and cost optimization activities related to manufacturing and supply chain operations. The involves analyzing procurement, production, logistics, and inventory performance, preparing financial reports and variance analysis, supporting budgeting activities, and providing strategic financial insights to improve operational efficiency and cost control.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial analysis of manufacturing and supply chain operations including procurement, production, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis comparing actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards, MIS reports, and operational performance reports.
  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for manufacturing operations.
  • Analyze demand forecasts, production plans, and operational data to evaluate financial impact.
  • Coordinate with planning, procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to optimize cost structures.
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, slow-moving inventory, and obsolete materials.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities across procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and inventory operations.
  • Conduct scenario analysis related to sourcing strategies, production planning, and supply chain optimization.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic business and operational initiatives.
  • Support supplier negotiations and vendor evaluation processes through cost and financial analysis.
  • Analyze operational KPIs and recommend process improvements for efficiency enhancement.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting, data validation, and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business performance and operational planning.
  • Assist in preparing management presentations, financial summaries, and strategic reports.
  • Participate in audits, compliance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support network optimization and operational efficiency projects through analytical insights.
  • Monitor manufacturing costs and support profitability improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial and operational data.
