Medical Coordinator

The Medical Coordinator will support doctor coordination, patient care workflow, treatment follow-up, clinical documentation, interdepartmental communication, and hospital service coordination at Horizon Prime Hospital, Thane. This requires BBA or MBA qualification with 1–2 years of experience in hospital coordination, healthcare operations, or patient care services.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate between doctors, nursing teams, patients, and hospital departments.
• Support OPD, IPD, admission, discharge, investigation, and procedure coordination.
• Track patient reports, treatment plans, pending clinical tasks, and follow-up requirements.
• Assist consultants and clinical teams with documentation and workflow coordination.
• Coordinate with diagnostics, pharmacy, billing, TPA, ICU, OT, and patient care teams.
• Maintain patient trackers, coordination records, reports, and follow-up lists.
• Communicate patient-related updates to concerned teams as per hospital process.
• Help reduce delays in consultation, investigation, discharge, and treatment workflow.
• Support patient counselling coordination under doctor or senior guidance.
• Escalate clinical delays, patient concerns, or operational gaps promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient medical information.
• Ensure smooth, timely, and patient-centered medical coordination.
