Liftman

The Liftman will be responsible for operating hospital lifts, assisting patients and visitors, maintaining lift safety discipline, reporting lift issues, and supporting smooth movement within Horizon Prime Hospital, Thane. This requires High School qualification with 1–2 years of experience in lift operation or facility support services.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate hospital lift safely for patients, visitors, staff, and attendants.
• Assist elderly patients, wheelchair patients, emergency cases, and visitors during lift use.
• Ensure lift is not overloaded and safety instructions are followed.
• Keep lift area clean, organized, and safe for movement.
• Report lift breakdown, abnormal noise, door issue, or safety concern to maintenance team.
• Coordinate during patient shifting, emergency movement, or stretcher movement when required.
• Guide visitors politely regarding floors, departments, and hospital directions.
• Monitor lift usage and prevent misuse or unsafe activity.
• Support smooth crowd movement during busy OPD or visiting hours.
• Follow hospital safety, discipline, and emergency response instructions.
• Maintain professional behavior and patient-friendly communication.
• Ensure safe and comfortable lift service support.
