Housekeeping

The Housekeeping staff will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, infection control support, waste management, and patient area readiness at Horizon Prime Hospital, Thane. This requires High School qualification with 1–2 years of experience in housekeeping or hospital support services.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, wards, OPD, corridors, washrooms, public areas, and assigned departments.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness as per hospital housekeeping standards.
• Follow infection control, hand hygiene, PPE, and biomedical waste disposal protocols.
• Support bed cleaning, room preparation, discharge cleaning, and terminal cleaning.
• Report spills, stains, odor, damage, or safety issues to supervisors.
• Coordinate with nursing, housekeeping supervisor, maintenance, and ward staff.
• Maintain cleaning tools, chemicals, linen, and housekeeping materials properly.
• Handle waste segregation and disposal as per hospital policy.
• Support OT, ICU, emergency, and isolation area cleaning under instructions.
• Maintain patient privacy and polite behavior during cleaning work.
• Respond to urgent cleaning calls promptly.
• Ensure clean, safe, and comfortable hospital environment.
