OPD Coordinator

The OPD Coordinator will be responsible for managing OPD appointments, doctor schedule coordination, patient flow, registration support, queue management, and patient guidance at Horizon Prime Hospital, Thane. This requires B.Sc or B.Com qualification with 1–2 years of experience in OPD coordination, front office, or hospital patient services.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate OPD appointments, doctor schedules, and patient consultation flow.
• Guide patients for registration, billing, consultation, investigation, and pharmacy process.
• Maintain OPD appointment records, patient lists, enquiry logs, and daily reports.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, front office, billing, diagnostics, and patient care teams.
• Manage waiting area communication and help reduce patient waiting time.
• Handle patient queries politely and provide accurate hospital service information.
• Track pending reports, repeat consultations, follow-ups, and patient movement.
• Escalate delays, doctor availability changes, or patient concerns to seniors.
• Support health check-up, specialty OPD, and consultation coordination.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and OPD records.
• Use hospital software and computer systems for daily OPD work.
• Ensure smooth, organized, and patient-friendly OPD operations.
