Quality Manager

The Quality Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring quality management systems within the hospital. This involves ensuring adherence to accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies while promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and excellence in patient care.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor hospital-wide quality management systems and protocols.
• Ensure compliance with national and international accreditation standards (e.g., NABH, JCI).
• Plan and conduct internal audits, quality checks, and gap analyses across departments.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics to evaluate hospital performance.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and continuous process enhancement programs.
• entify areas of improvement and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate accreditation processes, documentation, and inspections.
• Ensure adherence to patient safety goals and clinical quality standards.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standard operating protocols (SOPs).
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff on quality standards, patient safety, and compliance.
• Monitor incident reporting systems and analyze adverse events, near misses, and sentinel events.
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure timely closure of quality-related issues.
• Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to improve patient care outcomes.
• Oversee infection control practices in coordination with infection control committees.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of quality records and reports.
• Track patient feedback, complaints, and satisfaction scores toentify improvement areas.
• Prepare and present quality reports and dashboards to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in healthcare delivery.
• Coordinate with various departments to standardize processes and reduce variability.
• Monitor clinical audits, medical record audits, and documentation quality.
• Facilitate benchmarking activities and implement best practices in quality management.
• Support risk management initiatives and ensure mitigation strategies are in place.
• Participate in management review meetings and provide insights for decision-making.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and quality excellence.
• Ensure readiness for external audits, inspections, and accreditation renewals.
• Lead and mentor the quality team to achieve organizational goals effectively.
