Optometrist

We are looking for an Optometrist to perform eye testing, refraction, vision assessment, and patient support services. The candidate should have sound knowledge of optometry practices, eye examination procedures, and patient care. The requires accuracy, clinical discipline, and coordination with ophthalmologists to support quality diagnosis and treatment planning.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Perform vision testing and refraction procedures for patients.
• Conduct preliminary eye examinations as per clinical protocols.
• Assist ophthalmologists with diagnostic support and patient assessment.
• Check visual acuity, lens power, and eye-related measurements.
• Guide patients regarding spectacles, lenses, and vision correction needs.
• Maintain accurate optometry records and test findings.
• Operate optometry instruments safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper patient preparation before doctor consultation.
• Support clinical workflow and reduce patient waiting time.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the optometry area.
• Explain basic test procedures to patients in a clear manner.
• Coordinate with optical and clinical teams when required.
• Follow hospital SOPs for eye testing and documentation.
• Provide quality patient care with professional communication.
