Store Manager - Optical

The Store Manager - Optical will manage optical store operations, optical sales, branch operations, customer service, stock management, optometry coordination, and store performance at Dr. Agarwals Eye Hospital, Erode. This requires 4–7 years of experience in optical sales, branch operations, optometry, operations, and store management.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage daily optical store operations, sales workflow, customer service, and branch activities.
• Guide customers on frames, lenses, spectacles, optical products, and prescription requirements.
• Coordinate with optometrists, doctors, billing, front office, vendors, and optical team members.
• Monitor optical sales, customer enquiries, conversion, billing, stock movement, and store targets.
• Maintain stock records, lens orders, frame inventory, purchase details, and store documentation.
• Ensure proper display, cleanliness, product arrangement, and customer-friendly optical store setup.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, delivery timelines, and product replacement coordination.
• Verify prescriptions, lens details, order accuracy, and product quality before delivery.
• Train store staff on optical product knowledge, customer communication, and sales process.
• Prepare store MIS, sales reports, inventory reports, and daily updates.
• Maintain ethical sales practices and patient-friendly communication.
• Ensure smooth, target-focused, and professional optical store management.
