Skilled Optometrist responsible for examining, diagnosing, and managing vision-related conditions and eye health concerns. Experienced in conducting comprehensive eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses, detecting ocular abnormalities, and providing preventive eye care. Adept at delivering patient-centered vision care, interpreting diagnostic findings, and collaborating with ophthalmologists and healthcare teams to improve visual health outcomes and ensure high clinical standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and eye health.
• Diagnose refractive errors such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other corrective vision aids.
• Detect eye disorders, abnormalities, and vision-related health issues.
• Perform visual acuity tests, refraction assessments, and ocular evaluations.
• Interpret diagnostic findings and recommend suitable treatment plans.
• Identify cases requiring referral to ophthalmologists or specialists.
• Educate patients on eye care, lens usage, and preventive vision practices.
• Monitor patient progress and follow up on treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate patient records, prescriptions, and examination documentation.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of optical diagnostic equipment.
• Support screening programs and vision health awareness initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, hygiene, and patient safety protocols.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists, technicians, and healthcare teams.
• Stay updated on advancements in optometry practices and eye care technologies.
