Skilled in prescription review, medication counseling, inventory control, and regulatory compliance. Adept at ensuring accurate dispensing, monitoring drug interactions, maintaining pharmacy records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient safety and treatment outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medications accurately as per physician instructions.
• Review prescriptions for dosage accuracy, drug interactions, and contraindications.
• Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, and possible side effects.
• Ensure safe storage, handling, and labeling of medicines and pharmaceutical products.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain adequate stock of medicines and supplies.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare teams regarding medication requirements.
• Verify controlled substances and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
• Maintain pharmacy records, prescriptions, and dispensing documentation accurately.
• Monitor expiry dates and ensure timely disposal of expired or damaged stock.
• Handle medication reconciliation and support patient treatment continuity.
• Provide guidance on over-the-counter medicines and pharmaceutical products.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.
• Support audits, inspections, and quality assurance activities.
• Manage billing or pharmacy transactions where applicable.
• Stay updated with new medications, treatment guidelines, and pharmaceutical practices.
