Nursing In-Charge

We are looking for a dedicated Nursing In-Charge for Paras Health, Kanpur to manage nursing operations, ward activities, staff supervision, and patient care delivery. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining smooth coordination between nurses, doctors, patients, and hospital management. This requires strong leadership, ward management experience, clinical decision-making ability, and expertise in ICU, CCU, NICU, PICU, OT, Emergency, and patient care services.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Manage overall nursing operations and ensure smooth functioning of assigned units or wards.
• Supervise staff nurses, senior nurses, and support staff during all shifts.
• Ensure proper patient care delivery in ICU, CCU, NICU, PICU, OT, Emergency, and Ward areas.
• Prepare duty rosters, allocate responsibilities, and monitor staff attendance and performance.
• Conduct patient rounds to check care quality, documentation, hygiene, and safety practices.
• Coordinate with doctors for treatment plans, clinical updates, emergency care, and patient needs.
• Ensure correct administration of medicines, IV fluids, procedures, and nursing interventions.
• Maintain proper patient records, nursing reports, handover sheets, and department documentation.
• Handle patient and family queries with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication.
• Monitor infection control practices, biomedical waste handling, and hospital safety protocols.
• Train, guide, and motivate nursing staff to improve clinical performance and service quality.
• Ensure availability of medicines, consumables, equipment, linen, and emergency supplies.
• Report critical issues, incidents, staff shortages, and operational concerns to management.
• Support audits, quality checks, NABH compliance, and nursing policy implementation.
• Maintain discipline, teamwork, accountability, and patient-centered care standards in the department.
