Senior Staff Nurse

We are hiring an experienced Senior Staff Nurse for Paras Health, Kanpur to deliver advanced nursing care and support junior nursing staff in daily clinical operations. The candidate will manage patient care activities, assist in critical departments, maintain nursing documentation, coordinate with doctors, and help ensure smooth workflow across ICU, CCU, NICU, PICU, OT, Ward, Emergency, and Trauma Care units. This requires leadership, clinical confidence, and strong patient-care skills.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in critical and non-critical care departments.
• Supervise and guide junior nurses, trainees, and support staff during daily nursing duties.
• Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, clinical changes, and treatment responses carefully.
• Administer medicines, IV fluids, injections, blood products, and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, emergency care, dressing, and clinical examinations.
• Ensure accurate nursing documentation, patient charts, handover notes, and medication records.
• Support nursing care in ICU, CCU, NICU, PICU, OT, Emergency, Ward, and Trauma Care.
• Handle emergency situations calmly and initiate basic life support as per hospital protocol.
• Coordinate patient admission, discharge, transfer, pre-operative, and post-operative care.
• Ensure infection control, biomedical waste management, hygiene, and patient safety standards.
• Train junior nurses on patient care protocols, documentation, equipment handling, and communication.
• Communicate effectively with patients and relatives regarding care instructions and hospital processes.
• Check availability of nursing supplies, medicines, instruments, and emergency equipment.
• Report critical patient updates to doctors, nursing supervisors, and department heads promptly.
• Maintain professional conduct, teamwork, discipline, and compliance with hospital nursing policies.
