Nursing Supervisor

We are seeking a responsible Nursing Supervisor for Paras Health, Kanpur to oversee nursing operations, staff coordination, patient care quality, and department workflow. The candidate will supervise nursing teams across ICU, CCU, NICU, PICU, OT, Ward, Emergency, and other clinical areas. This requires excellent leadership, clinical supervision, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills to maintain high standards of nursing care and patient safety.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Supervise nursing staff and ensure quality patient care across assigned hospital departments.
• Monitor nursing activities in ICU, CCU, NICU, PICU, OT, Ward, Emergency, and Trauma Care.
• Allocate duties, manage shift schedules, and ensure proper nurse-patient ratio in departments.
• Guide staff nurses in clinical procedures, documentation, patient monitoring, and care planning.
• Conduct regular rounds to assess patient care quality, hygiene, safety, and nursing performance.
• Coordinate with doctors, department heads, nursing in-charge, and hospital administration.
• Ensure timely medication administration, patient handover, discharge planning, and documentation.
• Handle patient complaints, nursing concerns, and staff-related issues professionally.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, infection control guidelines, and nursing standards.
• Train and mentor nursing staff on clinical practices, emergency response, and patient communication.
• Monitor availability and proper use of medical equipment, nursing supplies, and emergency items.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of nursing records, duty rosters, incident reports, and audit files.
• Identify gaps in patient care and take corrective actions to improve nursing services.
• Support emergency care, critical patient management, and interdepartmental coordination.
• Promote teamwork, discipline, accountability, and patient-focused nursing culture.
