OT Technician

We are hiring an OT Technician to assist in operation theatre activities, surgical preparation, sterilization, equipment handling, and patient support. The candidate should have knowledge of OT protocols, infection control, surgical instruments, and procedure assistance. The requires discipline, attention to detail, and coordination with surgeons and nursing staff.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Prepare operation theatre before surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and OT nurses during eye surgeries.
• Arrange surgical instruments, equipment, and consumables as required.
• Ensure proper sterilization of instruments and OT materials.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control in the OT.
• Check OT equipment functionality before procedures.
• Support patient shifting, positioning, and preparation for surgery.
• Maintain OT stock, supplies, and instrument records.
• Follow all safety protocols and hospital SOPs.
• Assist in post-surgery cleaning and OT readiness.
• Handle biomedical waste as per hospital guidelines.
• Coordinate with nursing, clinical, and support teams.
• Report equipment issues or supply shortages immediately.
• Maintain professional discipline inside the operation theatre.
